REGISTRATION:
- Sign up online (preferred) @ www.sasl.net ($20)
- Sign up at the field at tryouts. ($25)
- New players must bring a copy of Birth Certificate
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
- Must bring their own equipment: cleats, shin guards, water bottle.
- Parents are not permitted inside the fenced area.

- SEASONS BY AGE GROUP
- 15U-19U GIRLS: August 2026-November 2026
- 15U-19U BOYS: February 2027-May 2027
- 8U-14U BOYS AND GIRLS: August 2026- May 2027 (with a break from late November thru end of January)
- ONLINE REGISTRANTS: arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to tryout start time.
- AT THE FIELD REGISTRANTS: arrive 30-45 minutes early to assure paperwork is done by the time tryouts start.
- Players are strongly encouraged to attend both sessions. If you cannot, please inform a coach.
- Tryout fee is $20 ($25 if you register at the field). 100% of tryout fees collected go back to the SASL Scholarship Fund to help families in need be able to play the beautiful game!
- The club's philosophy is to have players playing in their true age group. It will be up to the coaches and ultimately the Director of Coaching to make decisions on players “playing up.” Contact us for more information at info@sasl.net.
- Any player that cannot attend a try-out due to relocation or injury, please contact Executive Director, Ryan Patterson at: info@sasl.net to set up an opportunity to be evaluated by our staff.

2026/2027 Competitive Soccer Fees

Registration Payments go towards:
· Annual NCYSA & SASL Team and Player Registration
· SASL Administration, Field Maintenance & Equipment Replacement, Paint, and Repair (Goals, Nets, etc.), & Team Fees
· Referee Fees per Season
*Fees DO NOT include uniforms (https://www.soccer.com/club/#/6768762), tournaments, or team fees (coaches travel)
SASL Fees Payment: A financial commitment will be set up between the parent and SASL at the time of registration. Payments are due by the dates of the payment plan selected. Payments can be made online with a credit card through the player account or payments can be made by check. Checks must be mailed to PO Box 1212, Sanford, NC 27330. If payment is not made, then the player pass will be pulled and the player is NOT permitted to train or participate in any activity until the financial obligations are satisfied.
We also accept debit or credit cards via online registration or cash, checks and money orders via manual payments. Checks or money orders should be made payable to SASL. The payment plan will start with a $150 deposit on Commitment Day and then balances will be due according to SASL Fee Agreement Form.
Club Fees:
Registration fee of $150 is due on Commitment Day (by June 5). Remaining club fees are due by the 10th of the month listed below in the table if a monthly payment option is selected. Payments can be made online in your player account or by check (mailed to PO Box 1212, Sanford NC 27330). Payments received after the 10th will result in player pass being pulled and a $25 late fee assessed to the account. If the player pass is pulled, the player will NOT be permitted to participate in any activity until all financial obligations are satisfied.
15U-19U Boys teams are Spring Season only. (January 2027- May 2027)
15U-19U Girls teams are Fall Season only. (August 2026-November 2026)
8U-14U Boys/Girls teams are full season teams (have a Fall and Spring season) (August 2026- May 2027 with a break from mid-November thru February)
Payment Options:
We have two payment options. They are 1). Paid in full in one payment, 2). Monthly payments based on the table below.
Tournament Fees: Tournaments will be split evenly among team members.
Uniform: Uniforms are purchased by the player. SASL orders uniforms through soccer.com. Jersey kits include a home gray jersey, away red jersey, red shorts, gray socks (home), red socks (away), and a training jersey to be worn at every practice.
Refund Policy: Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to other SASL programs. Club fees will be prorated for a season ending injury or if a family is relocating greater than 50 miles (player release must be completed).

2026/2027 COMMITTMENT DAY INFO
Once you find out you have been selected by a team, it is time to complete the commitment process.
This season we are offering two methods of the commitment process!
1). ONLINE (preferred)
- A. Register your player online for the program by clicking this LINK.
- B. Select the players correct birth year when registering them. Pay the $150 Commitment Fee.
- C. Complete the NCYSA Medical Waiver. (A new waiver must be completed each year). Email it to info@sasl.net or you can turn into the team manager or coach at the first practice. Waiver can be found below in the FORMS AND DOCUMENTS SECTION.
- D. Birth Certificate: Upload your birth certificate into your sasl.net account if you are a new player. You can also email it to info@sasl.net
- E. Upload a new picture in your sasl.net account for your childs player pass. This should be done every two years. This picture should be a headshot only without sunglasses or hats.
- F. Complete the SASL Financial Commitment and Player Conduct Forms. Email these to info@sasl.net. Forms are found below in the FORMS AND DOCUMENTS SECTION.
- G. If you want to apply for a scholarship, this form can be found below. Fully complete this form and email it to info@sasl.net by July 1st.
- H. If the player was born outside of the United States, then FIFA and US Soccer require additional paperwork. Please email info@sasl.net to inform them of this ASAP. We need this paperwork completed by June 30th to assure the player is cleared by mid August season kickoff.
2). IN PERSON METHOD
- Attend "in person" commitment day if you will NOT be completing the process online.
- LOCATION: Lions Club Building, brick building: 505 N 5th St.
- Complete the required forms in person (NCYSA Medical Waiver, Code of Conduct, Financial Commitment Form)
- Pay the $150 Commitment Fee in person
- Turn in birth certificate, take player pass picture in person
