Competitive Soccer

Competitive players are required to commit to a full year of training, and travel soccer.

Primary Goal of the Competitive Travel Program: Provide Lee County and Surrounding Communities Youth, ages 10 to 19, with opportunities for Challenge level soccer (currently through the Triangle Premier League), and Classic level soccer under the NCYSA (North Carolina Youth Soccer Association).

NCYSA is the highest level of play for youth soccer players in North Carolina. SASL has been part of the NCYSA for many years, and the small club aspect provides our players a higher opportunity to showcase their talents to college and professional level teams.

Our teams this season have had exceptional success, and our girls competitive program has made history! Not only do we have more girls competitive teams than we've had the last 40 years, but our U16 girls have been promoted to Division 1!

Competitive Training Consists of 2 Days per Week (minimum) of Technical Skills, Strengthening & Conditioning.

SASL will pay for each team to play in one tournament per year, but the Coaches and Team can play as many tournaments as they can provide funding for!

SASL's competitive teams during the 2019 Fall season had an all around unprecedented winning season, and we want to continue to grow and compete at the highest levels of play with your help!
